The Fowey hotel dates back to 1882 and is situated on the banks of the River Fowey. It offers three types of room: Premier, Select and Standard. The premier and select rooms afford fine views across the river while standard rooms provide inland and sea views - all have en-suite bathrooms. Its location makes it a useful base for exploring Fowey and nearby attractions such as the
Eden Project. The Fowey hotel is also well-placed for the Daphne DuMaurier festival. Room prices depend on season and start at £130.

The Marina Hotel is set above the Fowey estuary and is spread over three buildings. Its a comparatively small hotel with 18 rooms, all individually themed. The Foc'sle and Balcony River View rooms provide vistas over the river and are the most expensive, while the non-river view rooms, which have been decorated by interior designers are a more affordable alternative. The Marina also provides self catering apartments and there's secure parking available for £10 per day. One of the most popular Fowey hotels in the region.

Built in 1899, The Fowey Hall Hotel is an opulently designed, listed building which is located above Fowey. It's 36 bedrooms include 12 suites of individual character and design. The new Garden wing accommodates 12 more rooms, all with views over the Fowey estuary and some are furnished with antique double beds which are available on request. Other features include a covered swimming pool and spa area. Complimentary fresh fruit, home-made biscuits and toiletries are provided with each room.

The Old Quay House is a boutique hotel on Fore Street. The interior decor combines modern styles with traditional features. There are 11 rooms, some with views of Fowey Harbour. 3 of the rooms have four-poster beds. All are equipped with satellite TV, tea/coffee making facilities, internet connections. The Q restaurant is one of the best places to eat in Fowey and has earned two AA rossettes and the Remy Martin Award for its imaginative European cuisine.

The Cormorant is set in the nearby Golant-by-Fowey. Like all hotels in the region it is well situated for visiting Fowey and nearby tourist attractions. There are three types of room available: Superior, Cormorant and Standard. The Superior and Cormorant rooms have river views with private balcony, standard rooms have river views without. The hotel restaurant has an A la Carte menu and also serves lunch. Discounts are available during August and all rooms are equipped with flat screen TV.

St Austell Bay and is about 8 miles from Fowey. Its a large hotel with a wide variety of activities and leisure facilities. These include, an 18 hole championship golf course, tennis courts, snooker tables and both outdoor and indoor swimming pools. The Porth Avallen Hotel is family run and located in St Austell, a short drive from Fowey. It offers standard, deluxe, family and superior accommodation. Deluxe and superior rooms are south facing with impressive sea views of St Austell Bay, while standard versions are more basic and better-suited to short stays. Situated in Looe, the Talland Bay Hotel has its own seafront gardens. Its restaurant is one of the leading attractions and has earned two AA rosettes for its culinary excellence. A sport and leisure orientated hotel located about 9 miles from Fowey, the Lostwithiel is housed in a selection renovated barns. It has its own private grounds, golf course, tennis court and gym. All of its 27 rooms come with the usual extras such as TV, coffee/tea making facilities, direct dial telephones and en-suite bathrooms The hotel is in close proximity to the Eden Project and other attractions such as Bodmin making it especially popular during high season. Provides some excellent views across Looe bay and is 10 miles from Fowey. It has good parking facilities an indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room and squash court. Some of the 37 rooms have private balconies with sea views and all come with the usual extras such as a trouser press, colour TV and hair dryer. Its Headland restaurant has a la carte menus which uses local produce. Its two bars also afford some fine sea vistas and serve lunch. They also organise special activity breaks - see website.
