The King of Prussia - Town Quay, Fowey
Its quayside location makes it one of the most popular pubs in Fowey. Rebuilt in 1886, the King of Prussia is owned by the St Austell Brewery and is known for its friendly, hospitable staff. It serves a selection of real ales as well as a variety of reasonably prices wines - its pub food includes a range of seafood dishes. The patio area is ideal during summer months but is of course very busy.

The Ship Inn - Trafalgar Square, Fowey
The Ship Inn lies on Trafalgar Square and is one of the oldest buildings in Fowey. Like many local pubs it is owned by the St Austell Brewery and serves a full range of their ales. The pub menu includes a fine selection of seafood including crab, mussel soup and prawn risotto, while the interior, which is nautically themed, reflects the pub's age and consists of an open-fire and oak panelled walls.

The Galleon Inn - 12 Fore Street, Fowey
The Galleon Inn, which overlooks the river on Fore street, serves a wide selection of local ales and keg beer, as well as the usual compliment of lagers and ciders. The interiors consists of traditional features such as slate floors and beamed ceilings - there's also a front patio which looks out onto the river with a heated beer garden. Pub food consists largely of fish caught from
Megavissey or sourced from fisheries in Plymouth.

Safe Harbour Inn - 58 Lostwithiel Street, Fowey
Found on Lostwithiel Street, the Safe Harbour Inn has two bars of contrasting styles; the lounge bar and the public bar. The public bar is decorated more traditionally with a dart board, pool table and juke box while the lounge bar is a more laid back affair, with open-fire and leather seating. They serve St. Austell ales such as Tinners and Tribute as well as a selection of ales including Proper Job and Admiral's Ale.

Old Ferry Inn - Bodinnick by Fowey
Overlooking the River Fowey, the Old Ferry Inn, which is family-run, dates back to the 17th century and is located close to the Boddinick Ferry. Like other establishments in these parts, the interior has a nautical feel to it with a large selection of photographs and related paraphernalia. Local ales and beers are served as well as home-cooked food which fills a large and varied menu.

The Lugger Inn - Fore Street, Fowey
The Lugger Inn on Fore Street is another old building and dates back to the early 17th century. Run by a husband and wife team, it prides itself in being a traditional Cornish pub. The food is homemade from local produce and it sells a variety of real ales and beers, courtesy of the popular local brewery, St Austell. The pub also has an outdoor section with tables on the pavement outside.
