The Old Quay House
The award-winning Q Restaurant at the Old Quay House Hotel, has received a number of accolades including the Remay Martin Award and a listing in the Good Food Guide. Cecor is modern and stylish with a nautical theme, and its quayside location makes it one of the most popular restaurants in Fowey. The menu created by Chef Ben Bass is European in style and has Italian, British and French incluences.

Nathan Outlaw Restaurant
The Nathan Oultaw Restaurant is located at the Marina Villa Hotel on the Fowey Esplanade. Proprieter and head chef Nathan Outlaw, a two-time Michelin Star winner, has created an al a carte menu which utlises only the best local ingredients and produce. Courses range in price from £20 to £40 with fixed price alternatives on both the lunch and dinner menus.

The Fowey Hotel
The 19th century Fowey Hotel is well-placed for dining out and overlooks the Fowey Estuary. Like the above establishments, its restaurant has achieved a number of accolades which include two AA rosettes. Head Chef Mark Griffiths has taken full advantage of local ingredients/ produce to create a modern European menu. A five course dinner menu is £35.00 including VAT.

The Other Place
Voted in Rick Stein's "Top five in Cornwall", the Other Place is a seafood restaurant located on Fore Street. The a la carte menu includes a variety of locally sourced seafood such as crab, squid, mussels and oysters. The restaurant itself is located in the upstairs section of the property and there's a ground-floor take away service that serves cockles, cod, prawns and callimarie.

Food for thought
Food for thought is set on the Quayside and includes an outside dining area which is popular during summer months. Despite the emphasis on local seafood, the restaurant also servesa good selection of meat dishes including Cornish Lamb and Cornish Beef fillets. This atmospheric restaurant is a Grade II listed building which dates back to the 14th century - its past is evident though exposed wooden beams and shale walls.

Hansons
Located at the historic Fowey Hall Hotel, Hansons provides British and French dishes. The restaurant is medium to large in size and decorated clasically with wood-panneling, tub chairs and drapes - it possesses a distinct country-house feel. Chuffers
Chuffers, on Station Road is a family-run restaurant with a relaxed, un-pretentious ambience. Like all eateries around these parts, their menu is created using only local ingredients and produce. It incudes an eclectic mix of fish, seafood, and game. Their dishes include mussels, local pork/beef, crabs and cornish potatoes freshly caught off the Cornish coast.
